Peter Bing Challenge for Former Fellows
Help us match the $50,000 Peter Bing Challenge
The deadline to make a gift is June 30, 2008!
Peter Bing ('55), a long-time Stanford trustee and a good friend of the Center, has offered a special challenge to fund an endowed research workshop named in honor of all former fellows. He will match every dollar you give one-to-one. A total of $50,000 in gifts from former fellows will be matched by $50,000 from Peter Bing. We need $100,000 to name the workshop.
Do you know that most Humanities Center fellows now participate in the Center's research workshops as their intellectual contribution? The workshops have literally changed the landscape of the humanities at Stanford.
Permanent endowment of the workshops is highest priority. With additional Mellon and NEH matches, each dollar you give becomes $5. Help make the Former Fellows Research Workshop named in perpetuity. 600 former fellows can make this possible. With broad participation, the tremendous impact fellows have on Stanford can continue. We need your gift by June 30, 2008.
