Collaborations
One of the Center's core goals is to partner with other institutions at Stanford and beyond to bring the humanities into conversation with other disciplines, such as environmental studies, the social sciences, and the arts. The Center also encourages collaborative work through its research workshops and by providing support for large-scale humanities projects, many using cutting-edge information technology.
Supported Projects
The Center is currently providing support to two major collaborative research endeavors: "Mapping the Republic of Letters" and "Tooling Up for Digital Histories."
Research Network
The Humanities Research Network, launched in 2006, provides online workspaces for Stanford-affiliated collaborative research teams.
Campus Collaborations
The Humanities Center works closely with institutional partners at Stanford to offer joint programs that cross disciplinary boundaries.
International Collaborations
The Humanities Center is launching a new program of research workshops jointly organized with peer institutions abroad.
Collaboration Suite
The Collaboration Suite is a dedicated workspace for humanities collaboration, with high performance computing stations. The space is managed by Academic Technology Specialist Nicole Coleman.
