Join us for a panel discussion about how immigrants are redefining citizenship through grassroot community organizing efforts.
Speakers include:
Dr. Tomás Jiménez, Assistant Professor of Sociology and author of Replenished Ethnicity: Mexican Americans, Immigration, and Identity
Ruben Abrica, Class of 1978, former Mayor of East Palo Alto and current council member for East Palo Alto Mayor's Office
Aracely Mondragon, Class of 2013, a community organizer for Peninsula Interfaith Action in East Palo Alto.
