The evening will begin with a reading of W.H. Auden poems, carefully selected and read by Stanford Associate Professor of English and Auden scholar Nicholas Jenkins. The readings will be followed by a musical demonstration including a complete performance of Benjamin Britten's Sonata for Cello and Piano, Op. 65, performed by Christopher Costanza, cello, and Pedja Muzijevic, piano. (Second of two programs.) | Project supported by Stanford Arts Office of the Associate Dean.
