William Cronon: "Telling Tales on Canvas: Landscapes of Frontier Change"

William Cronon, Frederick Jackson Turner Professor of History at the University of Wisconsin and a leading figure in the field of environmental history gave a lecture on nineteenth-century landscape painting of the American West and conducted an open seminar on his essay "A Place for Stories: Nature, History, and Narrative."
