Merce Cunningham in Conversation with John Rockwell

Presidential Lecturer
Legendary choreographer Merce Cunningham and John Rockwell, chief dance critic for "The New York Times," conversed about Cunningham's lifework and the history of his pioneering dance company. The event featured a unique video compilation created specifically for the presentation, including rarely seen images from early and more recent performances and rehearsals of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. The following day there was a special open rehearsal and backstage tour given by the members of the dance troupe.
