Reading Group, Science and Technology in the Postcolonial World

We will be reading two articles by John Law. The first is "On the Methods of Long Distance Control: Vessels, Navigation, and the Portuguese Route to India," published in 1986. The next is "Globalisation in Practice: On the Politics of Boiling Pigswill," co-authored with Annemarie Mol and published in 2006. Coffee and pastries will be provided.
