Annual Conference and Board meeting of the School of Criticism & Theory, which takes place each summer at Cornell University, hosted this year at Stanford by Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht. The conference will include papers by (in addition to Professor Amanda Anderson of Brown University, the School's Director, and Professor Gumbrecht): Professors Jonathan Culler, Hent de Vries, Stanley Fish, Leela Gandhi, Dominick LaCapra, and Stephen Nichols.
