Careers in Teaching: Beyond the R1 University

Are you a humanities PhD student with a passion for teaching? Join us for a discussion of teaching careers for humanists at a variety of institutions, including public and private high schools, community colleges, and large public universities. Learn about Stanford resources to help you launch your teaching career, including the H-STEP Fellowship at the Graduate School of Education and the Preparing Future Professors shadowing program at San Jose State and Foothill College. Lunch will be served.

This event is part of Pathways for Humanities PhDs, a professional development workshop sponsored by the School of Humanities and Sciences.
