We invite you to come see what we've been cooking up at the Knoll! Join us for lectures, hands-on demonstrations, posters, installations, and musical performances of recent CCRMA research including music in virtual reality, internet reverb, neuroscience of music and of narrative engagement, wave digital filter simulation of classic analog audio equipment, programming languages for music and sound synthesis, digital signal processing, data-driven research in music cognition, and a musical instrument petting zoo. CCRMA's founder John Chowning will be our keynote speaker, interviewed live in Berlin by Holly Herndon.

  • 10 am – 12 noon: Presentations throughout the Knoll.
  • 11 am – 12 noon: Keynote Event at the CCRMA Stage, 3rd floor:
    John Chowning interviewed by Holly Herndon, live from Berlin.
  • 12 – 2 pm: Food trucks (An the Go and Seoulful) and music in the Knoll Courtyard.
  • 2 – 5 pm: Presentations and open classes in the Knoll.
