Digitizing the Grand Tour II: a workshop on the worlds and lives of the eighteenth-century travelers to Italy

Stanford's Classics Department is bringing leading scholars of Grand Tour studies and eighteenth-century cultural history to Stanford for two days of reflections on eighteenth-century travel to Italy and digital approaches to its study. Speakers will present new research engaging with the Grand Tour Explorer, an interactive database, and discuss its further development.
