Dr. Geoff Tabin: A global opthalmologist's quest to cure the blind

Join the Center for Innovation in Global Health for a special seminar with Geoffrey Tabin, MD, a professor of ophthalmology and visual sciences and co-director of the outreach division at the John A. Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah. Dr. Tabin specializes in cornea catatract and refractive surgery. He is also the co-founder of the Himalayan Cataract Project and has been named the “unsung hero” by the Dalai Lama for his international work and dedication to eradicate unnecessary world blindness and sustain opthalmic health care in the developing world. Tabin is also the fourth person to climb the “7 summits" - the highest peaks of all seven continents.
