Film Screening: Alexander Payne's "Nebraska" (2013)

This dark comedy treks across the American mid-west from Montana to Nebraska, telling the story of aging alcoholic Woody Grant (Bruce Dern) and his son David (Will Forte) as they attempt to claim the million-dollar Mega Sweepstakes Marketing prize, all the while knowing reasonably well that the sweepstakes is just a scam, and end up meeting a whole cast of characters from Woody’s past.
This film screening is part of the DLCL Fall 2014 Film Series, "On The Road." Learn more about the series, and see a complete list of screenings here.
