The Intersections of Anthropology and Social Justice

As a discipline focused on identifying and analyzing patterns in human interaction and organization, anthropological training at the undergraduate or graduate level offers students the ability to design and conduct investigations with potential impact on social justice issues across cultural and geopolitical contexts. It seems that this aspect of anthropological practice often goes unexplored. Given this, a panel of students will present research that demonstrates a range of possible applications of anthropological investigation to questions of social justice.
