Harry Camp Memorial Lecturer

Lawrence Weiskrantz is Emeritus Professor of Psychology at Oxford University. Professor Weiskrantz is a distinguished neuropsychologist who has worked with patients suffering from amnesia and blindsight (a phenomenon he discovered) for over 30 years. Weiskrantz's work maps new research in neuropsychology into a philosophical argument which, combined with the latest brain imaging studies, points the way to specific patterns that may be involved in conscious awareness.

During his residency, Professor Weiskrantz gave four public lectures under the heading "The Search for Consciousness: Intersections of Philosophy, Neuroscience and Psychology."
