This talk discusses the benefits of project-based and design-thinking-oriented teaching and learning approaches for the Humanities, particularly in literature and cultural studies seminars. Drawing from assignment examples in various literature seminars and a recent interdisciplinary CS+X course, Dierkes-Thrun provides an introduction into project-based learning theory and practice for faculty, lecturers, and graduate students. Talk followed by Q&A, discussion, and brainstorming for participants’ own teaching practices and ideas.
