It is the tale of a society that, with good intentions, pushes its victims to the verge of destruction and then blames them for their suffering.
“Negin” is the fourth play in a series of contemporary Iranian plays directed by Hamid Ehya for the Iranian Studies Program at Stanford University. Previous productions include: ‘Interview’ by Mohammad Rahmanian, ‘The Road’ (co-directed with Sepideh Khosrowjah) by Yourik Karim Masihi, and ‘Sleeping in an Empty Cup’ by Naghmeh Samini.
