Professor Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht will host “New [In]Human Condition? A Discussion about the Impact of Electronic Technology,” a discussion with Peter Sloterdijk and Evgeny Morozov. A philosopher whose recent publications include Not Saved: Essays after Heidegger (2016) and In the World Interior of Capital: Towards a Philosophical Theory of Globalization (2013), Sloterdijk is professor of philosophy and media theory at University of Art and Design Karlsruhe. Morozov, currently pursuing his doctorate in the history of science at Harvard University, is the author of The Net Delusion: The Dark Side of Internet Freedom (2013) and The Net Delusion: The Dark Side of Internet Freedom, along with essays in an array of newspapers and magazines.
