An opera in three acts by Music professor Giancarlo Aquilanti. Libretto by D.S. Neil Van Leeuwen. Directed by TAPS professor and Stanford Summer Theater Artistic Director Rush Rehm.
Set at Oxford in the 1940s, this brand new opera is a modern tragedy with a romantic spirit -- a story about young people in the wake of World War II caught up in the demands of family, justice, and love. Featuring the Stanford Philharmonmia Orchestra, conducted by Jindong Cai, and performances by critically acclaimed opera singers.
