The Stanford Institute for Diversity in the Arts and BEAM: Bridging Education, Ambition & Meaningful Work presents lunch and conversation with Matt Austin founder of Candor Arts Publishing. Candor Arts designs, handcrafts and publishes books that focus on living, learning, and healing. Recent releases include Moonwork by A-lan Holt (‘11) and De by Victor Yañez-Lazcano (MFA ‘18).

Austin will speak candidly about the nuts and bolts of publishing, how artists move from ideas to finished product, the elegance of handmade books, as well as intimate stories of finding purpose in the workplace. Lunch is provided.
