Stanford Afro-Latin Jazz Ensemble: An Evening With Oscar Hernandez (New date and venue!)

Join legendary pianist / arranger Oscar Hernández for a special evening of music as he directs and performs with the critically-acclaimed Stanford Afro-Latin Jazz Ensemble. Mr. Hernandez has long been considered one of the most prominent composers on the Latin Jazz and Salsa music scene, and he is best known as the leader and producer of the Grammy-winning Spanish Harlem Orchestra. His contributions to the genre span five decades including collaborations with Ruben Blades, Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Ray Baretto, and Gloria Estefan. The repertoire features pieces that Mr. Hernandez has specifically written and arranged for the Ensemble. Don't miss this one-time performance!
