Joo-Mee Lee directs the New Ensemble's program of contemporary works by Casey Cangelosi, Takatsugu Muramatsu, Armand Russell, and William Walton. In addition to solo and duo works for percussion, Stanford voice faculty Wendy Hillhouse will narrate excerpts from Walton's Façade with student musicians conducted by Makulumy Alexander-Hills.
