This is an Archive of a Past Event

As part of a new Department of Music course ("Performance as Analysis: Late-Medieval Music in Action"), students will gather round Stanford’s one-of-a-kind music lectern to perform Johannes Ockeghem’s Missa Ecce ancilla domini. Guest ensemble Cut Circle, known for their mastery of Renaissance polyphony, will sing courtly love songs by Antoine Busnoys that range from the beautiful to the bizarre. | Co-sponsored by the Department of Music, Stanford Arts Institute, and Cut Circle.
