An illustrated lecture on the manuscript poems of George Herbert (1593-1633)

Randall McLeod is Associate Professor of English at the Univeristy of Toronto. His essays (sometimes published under the name "Random Cloud") have enlivened textual criticism and his work has been both innovative and influential, especially for scholars of Renaissance books and manuscripts.
An artist, poet and inventor, McLeod/Cloud is also the inventor of theMcLeod Portable Collator, a portable stereoscopic collation for simultaneous comparison of two copies of a printed page. A demonstration for textual scholars and archivists will be given while he is at Stanford. For further information contact Susan Dunn.
