Gail Fine is the visiting professor of ancient philosophy and senior research fellow at Merton College, Oxford and professor emerita at the Sage School of Philosophy, Cornell University. Professor Fine's main interest is in ancient philosophy, but she is also is interested in the rationalists and empiricists, and in epistemology and metaphysics. Some of her books include Plato on Knowledge and Forms (Clarendon 2003) and The Possibility of Inquiry: Meno’s Paradox from Socrates to Sextus (OUP 2014).
