Description

The topic of the French Culture workshop is broadly defined in order to bring together participants from many different disciplines. The focus is on French culture and society from 1700 to the present, with particular emphasis placed on topics relevant to the work of current graduate students. The workshop will allow graduate students from Stanford to discuss common research interests with one another and with faculty from around the Bay Area; presentation of work-in-progress will provide the students with constructive suggestions for organizing and revising their final projects.
