Resources for Coordinators

Running a workshop demands a great deal of intellectual energy, but it also requires some knowledge of Stanford's administrative structure and policies.

Printed Resources

To help workshop coordinators with day-to-day administrative issues, the Humanities Center updates the Coordinators' Manual each September. We also provide highlights of two sections of the Manual in a PDF version for commonly requested items (see below).

Part 1 (Download PDF) Coordinator Responsibilities

Part 2 (Download PDF) Financial Information

Part 3 Selected Appendicies

The Workshop Administrator also provides each workshop with a monthly financial statement, which can be sent to relevant department administrators upon request.

Online Forms and Links

Please keep in mind that forms and policies often change, and coordinators are responsible for complying with all relevant policies and regulations.

Call For Proposals

The 2008-09 CFP is now available for downloading. This is an interactive PDF which allows you to type into requested fields and then save as a file to your computer. Later you can print out the Cover page, Contact Information and Budget Sheets and incorporate them with your proposal narrative. Please submit your completed proposal by April 9th to the workshop coordinator at the Humanities Center. (Downloaod PDF)

Evaluation

In the spring quarter , each workshop coordinator is required to distribute evaluation forms to all participants, and then collect and return them to the Humanities Center. Evaluations are required of all workshops seeking renewal and must be submitted with the renewal application. Renewing workshops must provide a set of these forms filled out by your participants along with your renewal proposal by April 9, 2008.
