Maria Muhle

Maria Muhle is a professor of philosophy at Akademie der Bildenden Künste München and the co-founder of the publishing house August Verlag Berlin. She studied philosophy and political theory in Madrid and Paris and obtained her bi-national PhD in philosophy in Paris 8 – Vincennes/Saint-Denis and Viadrina Universität Frankfurt/Oder. Her research focuses on biopolitics and the history of life, political aesthetics and the media of historiography. Her recent publications include: Eine Genealogie der Biopolitik.
