Ananya Akkaraju

Ananya Akkaraju is a senior at Dublin High School and is passionate about gender studies. As the founder of EmpowerHer Education, a women's education nonprofit, Ananya has worked with students globally to advocate for the education of girls in rural areas of developing countries. Ananya is interested in exploring the intersection between gender studies and medievalism while bringing the humanities to her peers through these conversations with Professor Galvez.
