Brooke Clark is the senior editor at the Baker Institute. She is part of the communications team and provides editorial support for the institute’s publications and projects.
Since 2010, she has held various editorial roles at academic and literary publications including: SEL: Studies in English Literature, 1500-1900; Age, Culture, Humanities; and Grist: A Journal of the Literary Arts, among others.
Prior to joining the Baker Institute, Clark was a postdoctoral teaching fellow and instructor at Rice University, teaching writing courses on twentieth-century and contemporary literature, gender and sexuality studies, and cinematic representations of medicine.
Clark received her Ph.D. in English at Rice University, her M.A. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and her B.A. from Coastal Carolina University.
