Afshin Naghouni: Odyssey of an Artist

Iranian by birth, Afshin Naghouni (Ash) has lived most of his adult life in London, where he works as a visual artist. Considered a child prodigy, Ash won a number of regional and national painting competitions between the ages of 9 and 12 and has not stopped painting since. He did his post graduate work at London Metropolitan University, in the Sir John Cass Department of Art Media and Design.

The documentary film, Out of Focus, directed by Shahriar Sial Shal about Afshin Naghouni’s life will be screened followed by a question and answer session with Mr. Afshin Naghouni and Dr. Abbas Milani.
