Jeff Chang and Jerome Reyes of Stanford’s Institute for Diversity in the Arts discuss Who We Be, the curricular exhibition that Chang guest-curated. The exhibition and class examine visual culture—particularly images in contemporary art, justice movements, and popular culture—to discuss social change and cultural politics in the U.S. over the past half-century.
