Please join us on March 11-12, 2022 as we celebrate the work and life of Estelle Freedman; her foundational contributions to the intersectional histories of women, feminisms, and sexuality; and the scholarship she continues to inspire.
Feminist History: A Conference in Honor of Estelle Freedman will begin late afternoon on Friday with a plenary session exploring the multi-faceted contributions of Estelle’s scholarship and mentoring, followed by a community reception. Saturday’s programming will be devoted to three panel sessions featuring the current scholarship of Estelle's past doctoral students and opportunities to come together as a scholarly community.
This will be a hybrid event, taking place in person at the Stanford Humanities Center. Remote attendees can watch the presentations streamed online via Zoom webinar. RSVP to reserve your in-person spot or to receive the Zoom link and password.
