Honoring the Ghosts: Poetry and Dance Performance

 The arts can serve to tell the story of war trauma and hope in a vital way.  Honoring the Ghosts will feature Stanford's Dr. Alex Nemerov of Art & Art History reading Walt Whitman Civil War poetry, and former Marine and Iraq War Veteran Roman Baca leading his dance company, Exit 12, in a performance that explores the trauma of war, and the healing that is possible through the arts. Special reserved seating for military active duty, reserve and veterans and their families, as well as military affiliated families.
