Imagining the Universe: Tracy K. Smith

This is an Archive of a Past Event

Tracy K. Smith, a Pulitzer Prize-winning poet for her collection of poetry, Life on Mars (2011), will be speaking at Stanford as a part of the Imagining the Universe: Cosmology in Art and Science programmatic series.

The cosmos has long inspired our imaginations ― fueling research, reflection, and creative response. Organized by an interdisciplinary consortium drawing on departments and programs from across the university, this year-long project reflects Stanford University’s commitment to campus-wide connections among the sciences and arts.
