Leonard Bernstein Double-bill: "Trouble in Tahiti" and "Candide"

This double bill features Leonard Bernstein's Trouble in Tahiti (libretto by composer; arranged for small ensemble by Bernard Yannotta) and Candide (book adapted from Voltaire; libretto by Leonard Bernstein, Hugh Wheeler, and Richard Wilbur with additional lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and John Latouche). The performers include Stanford University singers and instrumentalists, as well as community members.

Trouble in Tahiti is presented through arrangement with Boosey & Hawkes. Candide is presented through arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI (wwwMTIShows.com). Candide produced on Broadway by The Chelsea Theatre Center of Brooklyn in conjunction with Harold Prince and Ruth Mitchell. Broadway Production Conceived and Directed by Harold Prince.
