Bio:

Thomas McGuane is the author of twelve novels, among them The Sporting Club, The Bushwacked Piano, Ninety-two in the Shade, which was a finalist for the National Book Award, and Nothing but Blue Skies. He is also the author of several essay collections, including An Outside Chance and Some Horses, and has had stories and essays selected for inclusion in The Best American Stories, The Best American Essays, and The Best American Sport Writing. A member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters, he is also a member of the The National Cutting Horse Association Hall of Fame and the Flyfishing Hall of Fame, and has received the Western Literature Association’s Lifetime Achievement award. His most recent book, Crow Fair: Stories was published in March of 2015. He lives in Montana, where most of his recent work is set.
