Author Helen Park Bigelow examines the life and work of her father David Park,  recognized as an important 20th century painter. Park, along with his close friends, artists Richard Diebenkorn and Elmer Bischoff, originated the art movement known as Bay Area Figurative Painting. Bigelow tells the story of that movement’s seminal moment, and discusses David Park as painter, friend, and father.
