Testing the Boundaries: Wendingen 1918-1932

This is an Archive of a Past Event

Wendingen was a Dutch architectural journal dedicated to investigating and expanding the boundaries of architecture. Conceived and edited by the Dutch architect and designer H. Th. Wijdeveld, it showcased both art and architecture of Dutch and international origin. This exhibition highlights the diverse visual styles of the journal's covers, its varied content, and its extensive coverage of Frank Lloyd Wright--three aspects of the publication that demonstrate its devotion to discovering the fullest realization of built form.

Curated by Julia Schubach, Class of 2014, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (Architectural Design Program)

The exhibition will be on view throughout the summer.
