Elliott Reichardt studies how Indigenous Peoples drive structural changes in social and economic structure in resource extractive regions using a mix of historical, ecological, and ethnographic methods. He studies how various factors, including legal, ecological, and social, drive these changes, and how businesses, communities, and Indigenous Peoples experience and respond these changes in the present day.
