Eva Baudler is a PhD student in history focusing on late-19th and early-20th century Chinese migration across the German empire, with special attention paid to the transpacific world. Her research explores anti-Chinese sentiments, the microhistories of migrant laborers, and the roles sojourners played in subverting and contributing to settler colonialism.
