Katie Livingston is a PhD candidate in English at Stanford, where she works on American literature through the lens of feminist theory and narrative form. Her research focuses on how women writers during the Progressive Era imagined new futures—sexually, economically, and narratively. She is interested in making academic work and thought accessible through digital, public, and open access humanities, as evidenced through her work with Internet Archive, SJPEP's literary journal Not Like the Rest, and Arcade. She also works on material culture, the Novel, the short story, regionalist fiction, and domestic ephemera.
