Artists in San Francisco Chinatown
Kwon's current book project examines the rich history of artists working in San Francisco Chinatown during the twentieth century. Through the work of artists including Jade Snow Wong, Bernice Bing, James Leong, Kaisik Wong, and Martin Wong, among others, Kwon explores the relationship between architecture, ornament, place, and race.
