Miri Powell

At Arcade, Miri Powell facilitated the publication of Colloquies that coalesced around a variety of themes and questions and share a commitment to rigorous public scholarship. Her work broadly aims to catalyze cross-field and interdisciplinary engagement, connecting scholars within and beyond the humanities. The Colloquies to which Powell contributed reflect on the varied experiences of communities—both human and not—across the Earth's lands and seas, on the role of art in urban space, and on efforts to redress historical violences through new media.
