Dr. Christian Ntizimira is a Rwandan physician specializing in palliative and end-of-life care and founder of the African Center for Research on End-of-Life Care (ACREOL). A Fulbright Fellow trained at Harvard Medical School, he is the author of The Safari Concept (2023), an African framework for meaning-making at the end of life, a recipient of the 2021 Tällberg-SNF-Eliasson Global Leadership Prize, and a 2025-2026 Ashoka Fellow.
