Alex will teach us about the sisal farming industry in Kenya and how to plant, cultivate, and harvest sisal plants for fiber production. We will then plant sisal together on the Farm and try our hand at processing mature blades by hand using manual tools. Wear or bring clothes you don’t mind getting dirty!
