We have the privilege of welcoming Alin Constantin, a fifth-year PhD candidate in the Department of History, to present his paper titled “The New York Intellectuals and Postwar Liberalism, 1945-1967” (linked here).

Alin Constantin studies the histories of fascism and communism in Eastern and Central Europe during the first half of the twentieth century, and the impact of fascist and communist ideologies on Jewish minorities. The workshop will be held both in person at the Stanford Humanities Center boardroom (if you would like to attend but cannot make it in person, please let us know and we will set up a Zoom).
