Darren Dochuk | Anointed with Oil

Please join us for the first event of the year hosted by the Blokker Research Workshop on Religion, Politics, and Culture.

We welcome Darren Dochuk, Professor of History at the University of Notre Dame, to come and speak about his recent book Anointed with Oil: How Christianity and Crude Made Modern America. He will also be discussing his role as editor of the academic journal Modern American History, a treat for graduate students to hear about how to write and submit a professional article for publication.
