Mark Shiffman is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Saint Patrick’s Seminary and University. He is the translator of Aristotle’s De Anima (Hackett, 2010) and author of numerous articles and book chapters on Plato, Aristotle, Plutarch, Augustine, Ockham, Hobbes, Locke, Simone Weil, Ralph Ellison, Wendell Berry, and Rémi Brague. Andrew Biondo from Stanford’s philosophy department will provide comments.
