Hosted by the Stanford Humanities Center and Stanford University Libraries, this workshop equips humanities graduate students with practical guidance for navigating scholarly publishing. We will clarify what copyright means for you as an author, discuss publication models and contracts, explore options for open access, and explain how embargo and license options for your dissertation can impact publishing pathways. 

Whether you are actively within the drafting process of an article, chapter, or monograph, or thinking ahead toward future work, making informed decisions about publishing can ensure responsible sharing and enhance the impact of your scholarship.
